Applications
Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene film is one of the most versatile flexible packaging substrate. Due to exceptional moisture barrier properties the shelf life of the products packed in BOPP increases exponentially. High tensile strength and excellent heat seal characteristics ensure safe distribution of the prodcut across the globe. PP being one the most chemically inert material is ideal for direct contact food packaging applications. BOPP in pearlized and white opaque varieties are preferred substrates for the applications where UV and light barrier properties are required. Excellent optical properties enhances print quality of the package for visual appeal. PP has lowest density among the most popular flexible packaging substrates and it offers very high square meters coverage per kilogram ensuring excellent economics.
Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene films are used vastly in flexible packaging for food and industrial packaging applications where moisture barrier, good optical properties and high mechanical strengths are required.

The Product – BOPP Films
BOPP films of various types like transparent, matt finsih, white opaque, Pearlised, metallized, ultra clear and with special effects are available in plain and heatsealable varieties. These can be corona treated on one side or both sides depending on the application requirement.
Transparent Print Lamination Films

Applications: Lamination on printed or unprinted paper and board surfaces for print protection, moisture protection and ease of handling.
Reverse Printable and Lamination on printed or un-printed paper, films, foil and board surfaces for print protection, moisture protection and ease of handling. Also suitable for extrusion coating with primer for thermal lamination, strip and spot coating.
Matt Print Lamination Films

Salient Features: Stable Corona treatment levels, Uniform distribution of matt effect, Good slip and anti static properties, Good dimensional stability
Applications: Matt surface Lamination on printed or unprinted paper and board surfaces for print protection, moisture protection and ease of handling.
Used as a matt finish reverse printable top substrate in laminates or single layer for packaging of Bakery products, Biscuits, confectionary, ice-cram, vegetables, snack foods, chips, dried foods and miscellaneous food and non food items sensitive to moisture on VFFS and HFFS machines. Salient Features: Oxobio degradable in 2 - 2.5 years, excellent heatseal integrity, good slip and antistatic properties
Applications: Reverse and Surface Printable and Lamination with printed or un-printed paper, film and foil. Used as a heat sealable single substrate for moisture protection of miscellaneous food and non food items sensitive to moisture on high speed VFFS and HFFS machines.
Adhesive Tape Films

Available Thickness μ: 20 to 35
Salient Features: Uniform thickness, high tensile strength, low elongation, high gloss and transparency, stabe corona treatment levels for good adhesive bond, no back treatment
Applications: Used as a base substrate for pressure sensitive adhesive tapes for industrial boxes, carton and containers sealing. Very high tensile strength and low elongation ensure high speed applications on automatic carton sealing machines.
Textile Bag Films

Available Thickness μ: 20 to 55
Salient Features: Uniform thickness, high tensile strength, low elongation, easy wire cut and seal property, high gloss and transparency, good slip and antistate properties
Applications: Used as a substrate for packaging of textile garments. Excellent clarity and low antistatic properties ensure smooth packaging of textile and garments at high speed wrapping lines as well as manual wrapping lines.

Release Films

Salient Features: Surfaces are specially formulated for easy release, no surface defects, good dimensional stability, high gloss and transparancy
Applications: Used as a release layer between decorative laminates in heat curing operation. Smooth and no surface defects ensure original designs of laminates. High tensile strength and low elongation ensures reusability and easy applicability .
